Claude Code

Folder in every kit: claude/. Starter projects already have these files installed.

1. Copy claude/CLAUDE.md and claude/.claude/ into your project root. If you already have a CLAUDE.md, merge the two.
2. Run claude, then /context, to confirm CLAUDE.md loaded. Rules in .claude/rules/ with paths: frontmatter load when Claude works on matching files.
3. Skills appear as slash commands, for example /plan-feature add billing page. Side-effect skills such as /commit-work set disable-model-invocation: true, so Claude never runs them on its own.

Format notes

Keep CLAUDE.md under about 200 lines. Kit CLAUDE.md files are 28 to 105 lines. When both CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md exist, Claude Code reads CLAUDE.md.
